CNET: Buzz OutLoud…Facebook Apps = SPAM?

I came up with this post when I was listening to CNET’s Buzz OutLoud Podcast on my way to work like I always do and they said that many of the small applications are filled with SPAM or have bugs that can leave the PC vulnerable to attacks. 

MY KNEE JERK REACTION:

I don’t like those applications anyway’s. I never download and fill up my profile page with that stuff anyway’s.  Not to mention that I don’t trust the developers to create something that meets today’s security standards on the Internet.

What are you thoughts or opinion on the matter?
